Like Memberships, General Donations support the National Museum’s programs in Los Angeles and in regions across the United States and abroad. You may designate your donation to support one of the National Museum’s key areas of focus such as Education, Preserving the Nisei Legacy, Arts, or International projects (For more information about the individual initiatives, please see our feature section Goals and Initiatives for the Next Decade of Excellence). Donors of $1,000 and above are recognized in the National Museum’s Annual Report. --- Tribute Gifts: Donations made ‘In Honor of’ or ‘In memory of’ a Friend or Loved One A Living Tribute marking a joyous occasion or a Memorial Gift honoring a loved one helps sustain and expand the programs and further the goals of the Japanese American National Museum. Your ‘Honoree’ or the family of a ‘Memorial Honoree’ will receive a letter from the National Museum acknowledging your contribution. Please follow these instructions when making your contribution to facilitate our correspondence: Indicate the type of tribute gift and initiative before pressing the 'Donate' button. When filling out the order form, please type to who and where you would like the gift acknowledgement sent in the shipping address. Check the box when prompted if you are not sending it to yourself. Include your address in the 'billing address' area. In the 'comments' section at the end of the order form, please type the name that you want listed as the Tribute Gift honoree. |
